Mustangs Sweep Consol, Prepare For Week 7

Not much to say here other than the Mustangs took care of business Thursday night against A&M Consolidated. Mustangs Pitcher, Robert Revels, pitched a complete game allowing West to hold Consol at just 3 runs.

Carson Carpenter was the first t0 score for the Mustangs after a Tiger’s infielder failed to catch a routine pop fly. West then felt bad for the Tigers so Revels threw slower at the bottom of the first inning so that Consol could get a couple hits. After three runs scored, Revels shut it down and took care of business the rest of the game.

Zach Wall had two critical outs early in the game that slowed any possible momentum the Tigers had at the plate. The Mustangs then had Consol’s starting pitcher removed from the game prematurely after loading the bases with one out in the third inning. West then pieced together a couple of hits in the sixth to cement the Mustang’s 7-3 victory. The District Champions are now 12 – 0 in District play.
