The Scoreboard After The Final Out

The Mustangs have gotten another win Tuesday night, handing the Magnolia Bulldogs their third loss of the season. The Bulldogs seemed to pull out all the stops to scratch two runs. However, this was not enough to beat the undefeated Mustangs.

West scored one run early in the game with help of Carson Carpenter, and held the lead until the top of the third inning. West felt bad and let the Bulldogs score one run just to make them feel better. The game was tied at 1 until the bottom of the sixth, when a pair of hard hits and a phenomenal bunt gave the Mustangs a 3-1 lead. Only able to score one more run, the Bulldogs ended the game striking out. The final score was 3-2.

The Dugout was active and loud tonight with help from Starting Pitchers, Seth Hayes and John Matocha, Starting Catcher, JT Phillips, and Starting First Baseman, Zandon Pritchard. This dugout’s energy is unmatched and is the heart and soul of this undefeated team.

Game 2 of the series is set for Friday night at Groshan’s Stadium at 7:00pm. The Mustangs plan on going to the other side of the tracks to complete the sweep and finish the week off with another win in District play. Bo knows..
