The Mustangs finished Week 3 with 6 wins and 0 losses for the first time in school history. As the Mustangs take the much needed day off Sunday to rest and recover from beating up on the Cubs, they will start preparing for Week 4 of District play.
The Mustangs will play their cross-town rivals, the Magnolia Bulldogs, on Tuesday and Friday this week. The Bulldogs are currently 4-2 in District and will more than likely be 4-4 in District after this Friday. The Bulldogs have a history of losing to West this year after the Mustangs finished off the Bulldogs 28-27 in Football, and 3-0 in Soccer. The Mustangs plans to keep that trend going for baseball as well.
The matchup on Tuesday will be held at Mustang Stadium at 7:00pm and the matchup on Friday will be held at the Bulldog’s baseball field at 7:00pm. Come out to support your Mustangs and see them hand the Bulldogs two more L’s.
